black.

Joyce, your true color is Black!

Your color is black. The color of night. Serene and mysterious, black conjures up images of elegant evening gowns, dashing tuxedos, and gleaming limousines. Traditionally a symbol of success, black also represents power and an uncompromising demand for perfection. Not surprisingly, you tend to set challenging goals for yourself and do whatever it takes to achieve them — your strength of character is second to none. This unfaltering determination, along with your natural elegance, impresses people. But keep in mind that your personality might be intimidating to some. Try to temper your demanding side with a little softness — trust us, it won't kill you. Overall, though, black is the color of professionalism and achievement, which means it's clearly the color for you.

******

hUwaAaAat?!?! yan ay ayon sa isang personality test sa net.. quite true.. but i think my character isn't that strong.. (-_-)

measure your life in LOVE. =)

Out of boredom, I decided to watch our dvd of RENT na pakalat-kalat lang sa living room. I didn't know what to expect. But I was surprised on how 2 hours and 10 minutes of my time made me wonder how you "measure, measure a year."

Rent is based from Jonathan Larson's award-winning musical. It was directed by Chris Columbus. Syempre puro kantahan, even the simplest conversation, ginawan pa ng kanta. I got bored at the first part of the film. Buti na lang mganda ang cinematography. Eventually, i got intrigued by the lives of 8 individuals struggling against poverty and illness. Some of the songs were really great. Especially the soundtrack: Seasons of Love. I've heard that song years ago but it's only when i watched Rent that i felt the true spirit of the song. About the story.. well, may pagkamalalim. I don't know if other people my age would appreciate it as much as i did. But for me, the story is like... wow. (hands down to Sir Jonathan Larson.)

.ICEBAG 6.

* * *

Ikaw yan, iyong palatandaan.
* * *
* * *
* * *
Kaklase kita sa Math11. Bagsak ka, uno ako. Pero di ka nasilaw sa aking uno. Sa puso mo, sana payagan mo akong mag-take two.
* * *

reminiscin'

i read a blog entry from an interesting person talking about his childhood and how life was before. i said to myself: "wow, oo nga noh.." and i got to reminisce about my childhood days as well. i realized how much i miss being a kid. funny as it seems, pero ang mga bata nga naman may pagka-corny. haha. here are some things about me when i several years younger.

* we had this personal box or kit at school where we kept our extra clothes, baby powder, cologne, and everything else.
* i used to be one-of-the-boys..
* all of my neighbors were guys who were a few years older than me. (i used to play basketball with them by the way.:))
* i joined hula-hoop contests in children's parties. and everytime i did, i was the one to get prize. =)

* i was a die hard power rangers fan.
* the cartoon shows that i completely watched every episode were: Ghost fighter and Mojacko.
* i also watched every show in nickelodeon.
* i was good in riding bikes... not anymore. :c
* my mom did my assignments and my teachers had always found out.
* i was always included in school presentations, often part of dance numbers.
* i was ALWAYS late in class when i was in grade5. (my sincere apology to my former adviser.)
* my favorite toy was a kitchen set i got from my preparatory graduation.
* my favorite stuffed animal was an orange dinosaur and a brown monkey. (oops, i mean, a brown bear which looked like a monkey..:))
* i never met (in person) my famous godfather. he's still in the music industry right now.
* i loved ICE CANDIES!
* i collected texts though i never really played with it.
* i collected a lot of stationeries and stickers too.
* i was a teacher's pet. ;p
* whenever we go to McDonald's, i cudn't wait to get the free toy in their Happy Meal.
* i was good in playing ten-twenty. (oh not good, i was one of the best. haha! ;p)
* i didn't get the chance to sing christmas carols in our neighborhood. awww.
* we named our hired ice cream vendor in my 7th bday as kuya "suki". i still wonder what his real name is.
* i had a rubber shoes with red and yellow lights. =)

well, childhood is a stage full of dreams, hope and freedom. time runs really fast and a lot of things had changed. i'm no longer a kid with a melting ice cream in one hand. not anymore a brat who would cry whenever she wants to. not that little fool who wished for everything. i miss being a kid though.. not aware of crappy things in this world.. but just one hopeful girl enjoying life as it is. =)
